As a Personal Fashion Stylist and Personal Shopper I’m always looking out for the new trends. Having arrived back to London from Paris to view the Spring / Summer collections 17, the following were on show - some practical, others more playful! - from John Galliano show, by creative director Bill Gaytten:
Animal motif jewellery
Antique lace - visible undergarments project innocence rather than seduction; papier mache animal masks from Stephen Jones Millinery which pose atop the head with enchanted edge.
Sheer layering to flatter the silhouette.
Oversized trousers and contouring of high-waisted briefs flatter the hips.
Open shirt tied at the waist with three-quarter sleeves create a feminine silhouette.
Un-done shirt fastened with narrow belts, luxe joggers and tailoring
